Women & Libido

Women may experience a range of sexual concerns, from loss of desire and low libido to challenges with self-image and connectivity with a partner. Sex and intimacy coaching can help you explore these issues safely and build confidence, pleasure, and connection.

This pages focuses on a woman's experience of desire and connection, rather than the physical changes associated with menopause.

It is for women experiencing low or fluctuating desire, emotional or psychological blocks to sex, relationship-related intimacy and difficulties reconnecting with desire and partner.

Female loss of libido can be due to many factors.

What You May Be Experiencing

You might feel like your desire for sex has changed or disappeared, even if the relationship itself is stable or caring. Intimacy may feel less natural, more distant, or something you actively avoid rather than move towards.
For many women, this can also bring confusion, guilt, or frustration - especially when there is still love or affection, but a lack of sexual connection.

Common Influences on Desire

Changes in sexual desire can be influenced by a range of factors, including stress, emotional distance, relationship dynamics, communication difficulties, or past relationship experiences. Physical discomfort or changes in the body may also play a role.
In some cases, life transitions such as menopause, ageing, or pressure around sexual performance within the relationship can contribute to shifts in libido and intimacy.
Rather than focusing on labels or assumptions, the focus is on understanding your individual experience.

How 1-to-1 Sessions Can Help

Through 1-to-1 sessions, the focus is on exploring what is happening for you personally within your relationship, and how sexual desire and emotional connection may have shifted over time.
The aim is to support you in rebuilding intimacy, improving communication, and reconnecting with desire in a way that feels safe, realistic, and sustainable for your relationship.

The Approach

This work is not about blame, pressure, or quick fixes. It is about understanding patterns of loss of desire in long-term relationships and finding practical, grounded ways to move forward with clarity and confidence.
